What is hospitality SaaS software?

Hospitality SaaS software refers to cloud-based solutions designed specifically for businesses in the hospitality industry, such as hotels, restaurants, and resorts. These platforms typically offer tools for property management, reservations, guest services, billing, and analytics, all accessible via the internet without the need for on-site servers. Using SaaS (Software as a Service) helps hospitality businesses streamline operations, improve guest experiences, and reduce IT costs. Updates and support are managed by the software provider, ensuring that the latest features and security measures are always available. This approach allows hospitality businesses to scale their operations efficiently and adapt quickly to changing customer needs.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in Hospitality SaaS Software roles, and why are they important?

Success in Hospitality SaaS Software roles requires a blend of software development or implementation expertise, industry knowledge of hospitality operations, and often a relevant degree in computer science or information systems. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), cloud platforms, APIs, and experience with SaaS solutions are typically expected, along with certifications in project management or relevant software. Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and customer-centric thinking distinguish top performers in this field. These skills ensure seamless deployment and support of software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and guest experience in the hospitality industry.

How does a role in Hospitality SaaS Software typically collaborate with hotel operations teams to ensure successful software implementation?

Professionals working in Hospitality SaaS Software often collaborate closely with hotel operations teams by providing onboarding support, conducting training sessions, and gathering feedback on system usability. They regularly work with front desk managers, reservation staff, and IT personnel to tailor software features to operational needs and resolve any issues that arise. Open communication and active problem-solving are key, as these roles bridge the gap between technology development and practical hospitality workflows to ensure smooth adoption and ongoing satisfaction.

Job Description:
Manager, Partner Success & Strategy
Location: Remote: Philadelphia, USA | Department: Maintenance and Sales & Marketing | Reports to: Director of Sales
About Us
We're looking for a strategic, relationship-driven leader to manage our growing team of Partner Account Managers and serve as the day-to-day representative for a portfolio of high-impact, VIP partners. This individual will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, maximizing partner satisfaction, and strengthening long-term engagement across our existing ISV portfolio.
This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution - someone who can roll up their sleeves and lead by example while maintaining strong cross-functional alignment internally and externally.
What You'll Do
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Partner Account Managers to ensure they are meeting performance goals, driving partner engagement, and delivering exception service.
VIP Account Ownership: Act as the primary point of contact for our top-tier partners, owning the day-to-day relationship, strategy, and success metrics.
Revenue Forecasting & Management: Own the revenue forecast and health of the back to base book (existing partners/ISVs), tracking performance and uncovering revenue trends and risks.
Growth & Expansion: Identify and execute growth opportunities within existing accounts - including upsell/cross-sell, volume expansion, and new use cases that deliver mutual value.
Contract Re-negotiation: Lead renewal and re-negotiation efforts with partners, ensuring terms align with current and future business needs.
CRM & Portfolio Management: Maintain a clean, accurate CRM to track partner activity, engagement, and health. Ensure all Partner Account Managers follow consistent workflows for logging insights, pipeline updates, and account planning.
Product Feedback & Scoping: Collaborate with partners to surface product gaps and opportunities; translate insights into scoped requirements and work cross-functionally with Product, R&D, and Operations teams to influence the roadmap.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with sales, Marketing, Product and Operations to ensure alignment and consistency in execution.
What You Bring
• 7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or SaaS sales (preferably to ISVs, fintechs, or vertical SaaS)
• Experience leading a team and managing strategic partner relationships.
• Proven track record of expanding relationships and driving growth within an existing customer or partner base.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing across departments.
• Familiarity with ISV and channel-driven business models is a plus.
What Success Looks Like
• Ensuring partners adhere to the terms of their agreements.
• Driving a minimum organic growth rate of 30% across the combined manage partner portfolio.
• Integrate at least 7 new partners per year into the account management ecosystem.
• Deepening trust and collaboration with each partner - evidenced by increased engagement, reduced attrition, and stronger alignment across strategic goals.
Why Join Us
• Work with a product that sits at the center of commerce for vertical SaaS.
• Competitive base salary + variable comp tied to partner growth.
