Location:Kohler, WI

Opportunity

ย To maintain the highest housekeeping standards established for each lodging venue within Hospitality. Supervise as an engaged positive leader, with timely execution and graciousness.ย  Responsible for cleanliness of guest rooms, public space in compliance with approved standards.ย ย 

Specific Responsibilities:

Hotel Functionsย 

  • Assist in meeting and/or exceeding the requirements set by Kohler luxury standards for each property; The American Club, Carriage House, Inn on Woodlake, Riverbend and external Cabins.ย ย 
  • Complete end of the month inventories, reporting and replenishment of supplies.ย 
  • Monitor visual appearance of all properties.ย 
  • Handle guest related issues in the absence of Assistant Executive Housekeeper or
  • Executive Housekeeper.ย ย 
  • Assist in all housekeeping operations as needed or directed by Assistant Executive
  • Housekeeper or Executive Housekeeper.ย 
  • Participate in operation meetings as it relates to property updates.ย 

Staff Supervision & Trainingย 

  • Hire, supervise, train, coach, recognize positive behaviors, disciplinary actions, and complete reviews of assigned team.ย 
  • Assist Scheduling Coordinator with approval of payroll, labor transfers, late/sick/vacation requests, and scheduling when neededย 
  • On boarding of new associatesย 
  • Maintain up-to-date associate recordsย 
  • Develop SOPs to drive attention to detail, staff consistency and training across the entire housekeeping staff. Creates and manages comprehensive check lists to ensure standards are met consistently.ย ย 
  • Ensure that all direct report personnel present themselves in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with hotel guests and fellow associates. This includes following
  • Hospitality dress code.ย ย 

Project Management & Innovationย 

  • Product/Service Innovation: Submit service concept recommendations and/or product innovations to the Executive Housekeeper, which would affect direct report staff efficiency, hotel appearance and/or service.ย 
  • Project Management: Alert and assist the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and/or
  • Executive Housekeeper in project identification and follow-through.ย 
  • Plan, coordinate and execute soft goods enhancements such as replacement of lamps, coffee cups or hairdryers in room.ย ย 

This is a full-time position working weekdays and weekends. Hours vary between 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
