About the Role
At Old Greenwood, Housekeepers play a critical role in delivering the exceptional hospitality experience that East West Hospitality is known for. This position is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organization throughout guest residences, homeowner properties, and association common areas.
The Housekeeper ensures every residence is cleaned, inspected, and prepared to luxury hospitality standards while providing friendly, professional service to owners, guests, and fellow team members. Attention to detail, pride in workmanship, reliability, and a commitment to excellence are essential for success in this role.

Reports To: Director of Operations / Executive Housekeeper
Location: Old Greenwood - Truckee, California
Wage: $21.00 to $22.00 per hours DOE
Employment Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Must be available to work Fridays. Schedule includes weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings based on business needs.
What You'll Do
Essential Responsibilities
  • Follow room-by-room SOP
  • Complete departure, arrival, stay-over, mid-week, and daily cleaning services.
  • Complete scheduled warm-ups, trash & tidy services, and two-night departure cleans.
  • Clean residences efficiently while consistently meeting East West Hospitality quality standards.
  • Ensure every residence is guest-ready with exceptional attention to cleanliness, detail, and presentation.
  • Restock amenities and linens
  • Stage Unit for arrivals
  • Inspect residences for maintenance concerns, safety issues, missing inventory, or damage, and report findings promptly.
  • Document inventory counts and complete damage reports as required.
  • Restock amenities, linens, and supplies to established standards.
  • Ensure all kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, patios, and entryways are maintained to luxury hospitality expectations.

Common Areas
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all Old Greenwood Association common areas.
  • Clean and maintain East West Hospitality offices, housekeeping facilities, and employee workspaces.
  • Keep entrances, hallways, stairwells, and shared amenities clean, organized, and inviting.
  • Deliver linens, housewares, guest requests, and supplies to residences promptly.
  • Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping storage areas.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
  • Organize housekeeping closets and supply rooms daily.
  • Notify supervisors of inventory shortages or damaged equipment.

Equipment & Safety
  • Properly operate, clean, and maintain housekeeping equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized housekeeping cart at all times.
  • Follow all OSHA, safety, and chemical handling procedures.
  • Properly mix, label, store, and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer and company standards.
  • Report safety hazards immediately.

Guest Service
  • Greet guests and homeowners in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
  • Represent East West Hospitality with professionalism and integrity.
  • Respect homeowner property and handle all furnishings and personal belongings with care.
  • Immediately label, log, and submit all lost and found items according to company procedures.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects as assigned.
  • Participate in seasonal cleaning initiatives.
  • Support other housekeeping team members during peak occupancy periods.
  • Assist other departments when operational needs require.
  • Facility Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort, vacation rental, or luxury hospitality environment preferred.

Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to:

  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
