The Birth Place at Frederick Health Memorial Hospital encompasses the Labor & Delivery Suite, the Family Center, the Newborn Nursery, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The NICU team works closely with Johns Hopkins providers. The Birth Place has private rooms, spacious showers, and offers a team of skilled doctors, nurses, midwives, and other practitioners who are specially trained. Frederick Health Memorial Hospital currently sees approximately 2,400 annual deliveries and 3,300 annual unscheduled outpatient visits.
