Job description

Job Description: Security - Hospital Inmate Watch
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Force 1 Protection is seeking experienced security professionals to join our team of Hospital Inmate Watch officers. This is an on-call role that requires availability to be flexible.
Once an inmate is assigned, officers will work 12-hour shifts (6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am) at a designated hospital location in coordination with local Law Enforcement.
This role is an unarmed position.
Weekends and holidays are a must! Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Eligibility for Performance Increases amp; Bonus Opportunities after 90 days!
Primary Responsibilities to include: Supervise and control detainees during their hospital stay, ensuring their safety and preventing escape or misconduct. This role requires maintaining issued equipment, following policy and procedures, and strong communication skills.
Necessary Skills:
  • Supervision and Access Control of inmate room
  • Escort and Transport - to and from hospital appointments during stay
  • Confidentiality of all detainee information
  • Excellent Communication Skills - strong communication and de-escalation skills to work effectively between detainees and hospital staff
  • Incident Response and Documentation - Respond to security concerns or hazards in a timely manner and document all security related incidents
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement or private security, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations with professionalism and efficiency.
