  • Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state, recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal, equipment, and property security for the assigned area.
  • May provide information, directions, and escort service as needed.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Completed security guard training through an approved agency, Level I and II, or obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Required to wear Body Armor, taser, baton, and handcuff-associated gear while on duty.
  • Experience in general security.
  • Must possess a current State of New Mexico Guard Card, level II, or obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Valid NM driver’s license on your person, no DUI/DWI within the last five years.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • One (1) year of related experience.
  • Security experience in a hospital environment.
  • CPR Certification.
