Position: Food Service Aide
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Schedule: Per Diem, Flexible hours, 7-7Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Prepare high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner
  • Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work
  • Maintain compliance to regulatory requirements for safe food handling, by following sanitation, infection control, risk management guidelines and HACCP plan.
  • Completes cleaning duties, pulling trash, sweeping, mopping
  • Assist patients in completing menu selections, offering alternative menu in accordance with food allergies, food sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
  • Update and validate diet changes in the patient diet management system, prints and distributes reports, tallies, menus and meal tickets.
  • Stock nourishment rooms and assist with kitchen stocking
  • Perform cafeteria duties as assigned including serving, grilling, stocking, cleaning and cash handling.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Food Handlers Card

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling
  • Healthcare/restaurant experience
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside the culinary team and leaders
