Job Summary
Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (WBHH) is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team on a full-time basis. As an RBT/BT at WBHH, you will play a vital role in providing psychiatric stabilization for children populations. Our mission is to ensure that our patients and their loved ones feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment journey.
Shift details: Full-time 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; one weekend day a month.
Essential Duties
  • Conduct behavioral assessments under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement behavior intervention plans to target specific behavior goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
  • Assist in crisis management situations, providing support and guidance to patients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards
  • Conduct daily groups with patients on communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Conduct patient observations, collect data, and provide supervision of patients' activities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living as necessary

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, but not required
  • Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with behavioral or developmental disorders
  • Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
  • Additional Requirements - Must obtain and maintain approved CPR certification and Management of Assaultive Behavior training including restraint and seclusion policies prior to assuming patient care responsibility.

Salary range: $22.50 - $32.50 per hour
