Phlebotomist

Job Title: Phlebotomist

Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Phlebotomy

Duration: 12 weeks

Shift: Night 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10

Experience: Minimum 1 year

License: Required

Certifications: BLS

Must-Have: - 1 year of experience in phlebotomy - First time travelers accepted - Clinical fit determined through clinical screening

Description: Unit details include floating within the facility as needed. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three holidays occur, the traveler must work two. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the onboarding may be pushed back by two weeks due to the orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. RTO (Requested Time Off) is a maximum of seven days. If one or two holidays fall during the assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested. If three holidays fall, one holiday RTO may be considered. All RTO must be finalized at the time of submission. No RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer or onsite. All compliance documents are due by the Tuesday prior to the start. Modules are non-billable and are completed during orientation.
