Pay Rate: $110/hr (Regular) | $165/hr (OT)
Start Date: ASAP
Position Overview
Gove County Medical Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Circulator RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will be responsible for providing safe and efficient perioperative nursing care, coordinating surgical procedures, and ensuring compliance with surgical protocols in a critical access hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Circulating Nurse during surgical procedures.
Coordinate patient care before, during, and after surgery.
Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists.
Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately.
Monitor patient condition and respond to intraoperative needs.
Ensure proper handling and counting of surgical instruments and supplies.
Requirements
Active RN License (KS or Compact)
BLS Certification (required)
ACLS Certification (preferred)
Minimum 1-2 years of OR Circulator experience
Travel or critical access hospital experience preferred
