Job description

NEW Laboratory Manager OR Lab Operations Manager opening at a mid size general medical surgical hospital located in Southern Wisconsin! This hospital received an โ€œAโ€ Hospital Safety Grade and offers comprehensive services including (but not limited to) Breast care, Cardiology, Critical Care, Heart and vascular care, Neurology, Obstetrics and gynecology, Robotic surgery, Trauma care, Women's health and More!

This hospital is looking to hire a permanent and full time Laboratory Operations Manager on Day Shift with 24/7 accountability. This position will assist the Lab Director with overall operation of the laboratory including coordinating the quality and performance improvement process, assists with lab budgeting and reviews and develops general lab and safety policies, plans for staffing needs and performs performance evaluations.

For consideration applicants must have:

  • At least a Bachelors degree in medical laboratory science or related field (Masters preferred)
  • ASCP Certification
  • Minimum of 3 yearsโ€™ experience in a lab leadership position.
  • Experience in a multi-hospital setting preferred.
  • Lean and six sigma experience preferred
