CRNA Opportunity - McLeod Carolina Forest Hospital (Opening Fall 2026)
McLeod Health is excited to offer an opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at our brand-new Carolina Forest Hospital, opening Fall 2026. This is a unique chance to join a growing campus from the ground up and help shape a dynamic anesthesia team.
  • Location: Myrtle Beach, SC- McLeod Health Carolina Forest Campus
  • Schedule: Full-Time 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 8-hour shifts with call

Call Schedule:
  • 1 weekday per week (with potential for 2 days)
  • 1 weekend per month
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) across a variety of procedures
  • Conduct pre-operative evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans
  • Deliver anesthesia care throughout the full perioperative continuum
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Manage safe patient transitions to PACU or appropriate level of care
  • Respond to airway and life-support emergencies as needed
  • Support a team-based, patient-centered care model

Qualifications:
Must be a graduate from an approved school of Nursing & hold (or willing to obtain) a current SC license as a registered nurse; a graduate from an approved Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation; must have successfully completed the certification examination administered by the AANA Council on Certification; must comply with the criteria for biennial recertification as defined by the AANA Council of Recertification; hold current SC official recognition as a CRNA.
Experience:
New grads are accepted and are encouraged to apply and will be considered if graduated from an accredited school of Nurse Anesthesia. Candidates must be able to perform all areas of anesthesia and be willing to work with anesthesiologists on a variety of cases.
Experience with spinal anesthesia preferred.
