Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System.

Additional Details:
Resume: Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether the facility was a teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Must read at least basic telemetry.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Previous employees may be considered only with St. Luke’s Health System approval. Will consider block scheduling to meet unit needs.
Unit Details: Uses Epic. Nurse:patient ratios: 1:4 without CNA 1:3. Patient population includes post orthopedic surgeries, pneumonia, COPD, CHF, general surgical cases, A-fib with RVR, and MI/rule-out chest pain. May see pediatric RSV, pneumonia, and respiratory patients; core staff are preferred for those cases. RNs titrate insulin, Cardizem, and heparin drips. Charge nurse is a house-wide resource and may cover Med Surg and L&D as house supervisor. Uses tele boxes and a virtual monitor tech. RT equipment includes nasal cannula, some high flow, CPAP, and BiPAP.
Shift & Scheduling: Self-scheduling; first schedule fills unit gaps. Every other to every third weekend. Holiday requirement: occasionally. On-call: 2 shifts per contract.
Floating Requirements: First to float. May float to ER to task rarely; primarily on the unit.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
