Job Duties

This is a unit-based position that supervises nursing staff on one of four treatment units. Responsibilities include participation in treatment team meetings, therapeutic program activities, and ensuring delivery of patient care according to the individual treatment plans. This position acts as the point of leadership for a team of health care professionals by guiding, coaching and evaluating staff. Utilize nursing process with knowledge of pharmacology, psychiatric disorders and physical, psychological and social needs of the psychiatric patient. Skills in delegating nursing activities, skills in supervising, and counseling nursing employees. Demonstrates competency as defined on Competency Assessment Competitive Shift Differential for Registered Nurse- Role 49113 $5.50 Per hour Second Shift Weekday $4.00 Per hour Third Shift Weekday $5.50 Per hour First Shift Weekend/First Shift Weekday Holiday $6.00 Per hour Second Shift Weekend/Second Shift Weekday Holiday $7.00 Per hour Third Shift Weekend/Third Shift Holiday
