The Hospital Coordinator Supervisor at McKesson oversees and coordinates the daily operations of hospital services and supply chain activities, ensuring efficient workflows, high service quality, and an exceptional customer and patient experience. This role leads a team of Hospital Coordinators responsible for hospital logistics, order management, inventory coordination, and service delivery. The Supervisor focuses on optimizing operational performance, developing team members, maintaining strong hospital partnerships, and ensuring compliance with McKesson policies and healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of Hospital Coordinators, fostering a collaborative, highperforming, and serviceoriented environment.

  • Oversee daytoday hospital operations, including order intake and processing, inventory coordination, product delivery, returns, and issue resolution.

  • Develop and manage team schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient service delivery across assigned hospital accounts.

  • Monitor team performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing feedback and development support.

  • Act as the primary point of escalation for complex operational or client issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

  • Serve as a key liaison between hospital staff, patients (as applicable), and internal McKesson teams, including sales, logistics, finance, and operations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, operational efficiency, cost management, and overall service quality.

  • Ensure adherence to McKesson policies, industry regulations, and healthcare compliance standards.

  • Generate, analyze, and present operational and performance reports, using data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead regular team meetings to communicate updates, share best practices, and reinforce performance expectations.

  • Participate in client meetings, business reviews, and quality improvement initiatives to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for service expansion.

Minimum Requirement

Typically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.

Critical Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare operations, hospital coordination, supply chain, or logistics.

  • Experience in a supervisory, team lead, or leadership role.

  • Experience with CRM/Salesforce required

  • Strong understanding of hospital operations, inventory management, and healthcare regulatory requirements.

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a fastpaced environment.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and drive informed decisions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with healthcare or supply chain management systems.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Travel

Must be able to travel up to 40% of the time.
