A joint venture with Baylor College of Medicine, Baylor St. Luke’s is an internationally recognized leader in research and clinical excellence that has given rise to breakthroughs in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, transplantation, and more. The hospital is home to the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center, a nationally-accredited and NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. Our new McNair Campus is designed around the human experience—modeled on evidence-based practices for the safety of patients, visitors, staff, and physicians. The 27.5-acre campus represents the future of healthcare through a transformative alliance focused on leading-edge patient care, research, and education. 


As an Inventory Professional, you will efficiently and accurately manage supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Every day you will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory, performing counts, reconciling discrepancies, processing orders, and utilizing management systems.
To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory software, crucial for operational efficiency and cost control.

  • Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed
  • Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care
  • Identified excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits
  • Notifies supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory
  • Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items; issues and credits materials from the inventory management system
  • Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly stock locations, and labeling bins and handling requests to change pars
