Job description

PeaceHealth is seeking a Psychiatrist for a Hospital Consult Liaison position based in the Eugene/Springfield, OR community. The position is Relief (Per Diem) as needed.
PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend is a state-of-the-art tertiary care medical center located in Oregon's picturesque Willamette Valley. The creators of Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend are on the leading edge of evidence-based hospital design, creating a patient-centered, healing environment with a strong focus on patient safety and clinical outcomes. The 386 private patient rooms are designed to maximize access to the 181-acre site's spectacular views of the McKenzie River, tree groves, hills and gardens.
The addition of a psychiatrist dedicated to the Consult Service at Riverbend will ensure that patient care needs will be addressed within 24 hours of a consult request. This will also allow for better coverage for difficult discharge cases. PeaceHealth Behavioral Health Services offers a comprehensive, coordinated continuum of care.
