Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description

The Quality Inspector performs precise inspections of manufactured components using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. This role requires accurately reading and interpreting technical drawings, carefully documenting inspection results in computer systems, and maintaining a strong focus on product quality to support safe and reliable products for end users. The position follows a stable weekday schedule on 1st shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of components and products using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, nonconformities, and deviations from specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine inspection requirements and tolerances.
  • Verify that parts and assemblies meet established quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Record inspection data accurately using computer systems and maintain thorough documentation of quality checks.
  • Follow established quality control procedures and inspection plans throughout the production process.
  • Communicate inspection results clearly to production and quality teams, including reporting any nonconforming materials.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring quality issues and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Maintain inspection tools and equipment in proper working condition and report any calibration or maintenance needs.
  • Adhere to strict cleanliness and contamination control procedures while handling parts and instruments.
