FUNCIONES ESENCIALES

Esta descripción representa un resumen de las responsabilidades y cualificaciones principales del puesto. El Hotel opera las 24 horas del día, los 7 días de la semana, por lo que las necesidades operacionales requieren disponibilidad en los días de turno, horarios de entrada y cantidad de horas trabajadas durante la semana. 

  •   Mantiene abastecida la bolsa o carrito de housekeeping para asegurar que cuente con suficientes productos de limpieza, equipos y amenidades necesarias para limpiar adecuadamente cada habitación.
  •   Sigue el procedimiento establecido de tocar la puerta antes de entrar a una habitación de huéspedes.
  •   Limpia las habitaciones asignadas y asegura el abastecimiento adecuado de amenidades en cada habitación limpia. Completa en su totalidad la lista de verificación de housekeeping.
  •   Marca correctamente las habitaciones limpias para inspección del supervisor.
  •   Reporta cualquier daño o condición peligrosa presente en las habitaciones de huéspedes, tales como bombillas fundidas, muebles rotos, luces dañadas, entre otros, mediante Guestware o al Coordinador(a) de Housekeeping.
  •   Asegura las puertas de las habitaciones al salir de las mismas.
  •   Mantiene los pasillos y áreas de servicio limpias y organizadas en todo momento.
  •   Entrega todos los artículos encontrados y todas las llaves de habitaciones de huéspedes según el procedimiento establecido.
  •   Cumple con todas las políticas y procedimientos de la compañía.
  •   Sigue las normas y procedimientos de seguridad y protección.
  •   Conoce los procedimientos departamentales de prevención de incendios y emergencias.
  •   Utiliza el equipo de protección requerido.
  •   Reporta accidentes, lesiones, incidentes evitados (“near misses”), daños o pérdidas de propiedad a la gerencia.
  •   Contribuye a mantener un ambiente de trabajo seguro siguiendo todas las normas y procedimientos de seguridad y protección.
  •   Todo miembro del equipo debe mantener una apariencia y cuidado personal higiénico, profesional, limpio y ordenado. (Los estándares específicos se encuentran en el manual del e empleado).
  •   Realiza otras tareas relacionadas según sean asignadas por la gerencia en base a la necesidad operacional.
  •   Asiste a otros miembros del departamento de Housekeeping cuando sea necesario.

CONOCIMIENTOS, HABILIDADES Y DESTREZAS

  • Conocimiento de pasos básicos del servicio al cliente, como hacer contacto visual, saludar, sonreír, conversar, ofrecer asistencia.
  • Agacharse, estirar y alcanzar para limpiar el polvo, limpiar habitaciones, tender camas y limpiar baños.
  • Permanecer de pie y caminar por períodos variables de tiempo, frecuentemente durante largas jornadas.
  • Comunicarse con distintos tipos de personas para brindar información, contestar preguntas y ofrecer los servicios requeridos.
  • Inspeccionar visualmente las habitaciones para verificar limpieza e identificar pertenencias de huéspedes que hayan sido olvidadas.
  • Utilizar habilidades de comunicación escrita para marcar las habitaciones completadas en la documentación diaria.
  • Uso hábil de dedos, brazos y manos con rapidez y facilidad para realizar las tareas de limpieza.

REQUISITOS FISICOS

  • Levantar, empujar, halar, acomodar y/o mover artículos de al menos (50) libras o mas según necesario
  • Movimientos de doblarse, girar, extender, alcanzar, estar parado, caminando frecuentemente y/o continuamente
  • Hablar y trabajar con otras personas, escuchar, sonreír, ser respetuoso y cortes.
