Job description

The Director of Hospital & Health System (H&HS) Center of Excellence is responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of the H&HS Center of Excellence (COE). This role drives performance outcomes for hospital and health system partners by designing, operationalizing, and scaling high-impact interventions, including clinical training, peer-to-peer learning networks, and on-demand resources. Serving as a subject matter expert in the complexities of hospital operations, the Director ensures that Aledade’s performance strategies align with the specific financial models, stakeholder environments, and policy landscapes unique to the H&HS segment.

The Director works cross-functionally with Aledade leadership to translate organizational Key Results (KRs) into actionable programs. Accountability includes the synthesis of population health analytics to identify performance gaps and the development of standardized curriculums that drive Value-Based Care (VBC) improvement. As a key liaison between internal teams and partner executives, this role is responsible for ensuring that all H&HS performance initiatives are evidence-based, streamlined for delivery, and measurably successful in improving VBC outcomes.
Primary Duties:
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and execute on trainings, and other resources that support performance improvement.  Coordinate across Aledade field teams to ensure streamlined and efficient delivery of resources without redundancies. This includes direct consulting to select, strategic clients to identify  opportunities for performance improvement and action plans.
  • Operationalize Collaborative Learning Networks by leveraging data insights, including the development of standard curriculums. Facilitate events.
  • Collaboration/communications with Aledade stakeholders via workgroups, steercos and other forums to ensure measures of success are clear, and tracking tools are in place to monitor H&HS COE progress
  • Managerial responsibilities, mentoring, performance reviews, and team operations, including resource allocation and professional development, and other personnel topics as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 10+ years of healthcare work experience
  • 5+ years experience working with or in a hospital and/or health system functioning as a leader
  • 5+ years of progressive value-based care experience
  • Demonstrated ability with population health analytics
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Demonstrated experience with taking an idea from concept to execution
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple programs, coordinating and collaborating across projects and teams
  • Strong and clear thinker/writer
  • Previous experience as a team lead
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in hospital and health system business and financial models
  • Leadership level experience in hospital/health system strategy and population health initiatives.
  • Skilled with interpreting data available in Tableau or other dashboarding tool
  • Master’s degree or other advanced degrees in business, healthcare administration, or public policy.
Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
  • Willingness to travel 10-25% of the time, as needed.
