Inova Blood Donor Services is looking for a dedicated Distribution Receiving Technician to join the team located at 45745 Nokes Blvd #160, Sterling, VA 20166: This role will be Full Time: Days/Evenings shift, Days will vary | Hours will vary

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensures that deliveries of purchase orders and non-purchase order packages are sent to the proper customer destinations; Obtains a signature from each customer upon delivery of packages. Scans all packages into the Mobile Supply Chain Application System on a daily basis.
  • Prints a delivery ticket and packing slip for each package before delivery.
  • Stages packages in the designated holding area for delivery by Logistics staff or designed shipping routes.
  • Monitors, reviews and communicates any EDI failures to team lead or leadership for immediate resolution.
  • Handles all aspects of shipping for the hospital (i.e. UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.).
  • Ensures resolution of missing packages promptly.
  • Communicates all discrepancies to the buyer for timely resolution.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Years of Experience: 3 years of relevant experience
  • License: Drivers License
