I. About Hospital Services Technician
Under management direction, a Hospital Services Worker travels between customer healthcare facilities providing on-site proactive collection and exchange of waste containers for various WM Healthcare Solutions (WMHS) programs, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. This service is provided at regularly scheduled intervals for assigned facilities.

Schedule: Monday - Friday Northwest Medical Center, Northwest Transition, Northwest Women's Center, Northwest Emergency Center, Carondelet Marana Emergency Center, Carondelet St. Raphael Emergency Center and Oro Valley Hospital

Start Time: 5:30 am

Compensations: $22 an hour
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Travels between customer healthcare facilities to proactively monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for various WMHS programs and services, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substance and Document Management.
  • Interacts professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Maintains a rigid collection and service schedule.
  • Communicates duty status on a defined scheduled.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.


III. Qualifications 
A. Required Qualifications 
 

  • This position requires on-site presence at WMHS customer locations and compliance with all mandatory immunization requirements imposed by such customers, and
  • 2 years industry related experience in a customer service capacity preferred, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating strong communication skills and tact in providing superior customer service in a variety of settings and situations or preferred education requirement
  • Valid Driver's License


B. Preferred Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited)

Field: This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.
This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing-including preemployment screening, postincident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing-in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
Pay: The expected base pay rate for this office/on-site or position is $23. This range represents a good faith
estimate forthis position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
