Job description

Cat Scan Technologist – Nebraska ($26.65–$42.65/hr + $15K Sign On + $10K Tuition)

Facility Size: Regional hospital providing comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and emergency imaging services.

Shift: Night shift, 7 PM–7 AM Full time 0.6 FTE (24 hours) and 0.9 FTE (36 hours) options Some part time schedules may qualify for full time benefits Additional shift options may be available upon request.

Compensation: $26.65–$42.65/hr

Bonuses: $15,000 sign on bonus $10,000 tuition assistance

Job Summary: This role provides CT imaging services across a busy hospital environment, performing high quality diagnostic CT exams, preparing and positioning patients, and ensuring adherence to radiation safety standards. Responsibilities include operating CT scanners and power injectors, performing venipuncture and IV management, adjusting protocols based on patient condition, and supporting ED and inpatient workflows. The technologist ensures accurate patient identification, obtains thorough histories, communicates clearly with patients and staff, and delivers patient centered care. Flexibility is required to accommodate fluctuations in daily schedules, including overtime, irregular hours, and on call responsibilities.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT (R) required ARRT (CT) required or CT board eligible (must obtain within 12 months) BLS strongly preferred at hire; required within 3 months Medical Radiographer license for Nebraska or Iowa (RAD.NE or RAD.IA) 1–2 years of CT experience OR completion of approved CT externship Ability to perform venipuncture and manage IV injections Ability to work with patients across all age groups Knowledge of additional modalities or willingness to cross train Strong communication and multitasking skills Must follow Universal Standard and Radiation Safety precautions
