Job description

What You Should Know About the DME Warehouse Technician Role:
  • The DME Warehouse Technician is responsible for equipment management, equipment cleaning, equipment maintenance and ready for patient use.
  • Full Time position and hours are M-F 8am-4pm
Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Management:
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain medical equipment according to company and regulatory standards.
  • Inspect and test equipment for proper functioning and safety before deployment.
  • Assemble and disassemble equipment as needed.
  • Inventory Control:
  • Track and manage inventory levels of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
  • Accurately document equipment issuance, returns, and repairs in the inventory system.
  • Logistics & Operations:
  • Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Prepare equipment for delivery and ensure all necessary components are included.
  • Coordinate with DME Technicians for timely delivery and pick-up of equipment.
  • Warehouse Maintenance:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
  • Perform regular checks of warehouse safety protocols.
  • Customer Service:
  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding equipment availability and status.
  • Provide basic education to staff on equipment use and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience with healthcare is preferred.
  • Computer skills sufficient to properly document services.
  • Valid Driver's License (Safe Driving Record)
  • State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
