JOB SUMMARY

The pay for this position is salaried at $43,680. Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! This is a full time, year around, developmental position with an excellent compensation package. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
  • Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication. 
  • Acts as a role model and coaches while developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations. 
  • Observes and reports team member incidents and recommends discipline when necessary.
  • Supervises day to day operations of assigned outlets.
  • Orders necessary stock for outlet.
  • Performs line level duties and acts a "breaker" throughout shifts as necessary.
  • Adheres to and administers established company Policies, Labor Laws, Liquor Laws and Sanitary Codes.
  • Relays all guest compliments and complaints to appropriate department head.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
  • Controls work flow and promotes productivity.
  • Maintains a neat, clean and orderly outlet.
  • Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Assists in the management of additional outlets when required.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Food and beverage line level experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required. TIPS certified, Serve Save certified.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.
