Responsibilities:
- Identification of genuine, counterfeit, altered and/or restored manga of various years (Golden Age, Silver Age, Modern) and genres (Shonen, Horror, Shojo, Seinen, etc.)
- Develop authentication and grading standards and processes in collaboration with senior leadership
- Partner with the company's internal and external resources to develop holder solutions for manga
- Identify, hire and train additional manga experts
- Maintain the company's database of manga collectibles and ensure accurate and consistent descriptions for manga collectibles
- Enter all relevant data into the company's computer systems
- Collaborate with the company's marketing team to produce content and inform its marketing strategy for manga

- Knowledge of manga variants, including variant covers, multi-volume publications, limited releases and more
