Lead an Exceptional Guest Experience at Texas Palms RV Park

Horizon Outdoor Hospitality is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead operations at Texas Palms RV Park, a beautiful 100-site RV community located in Dayton, Texas.

As General Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the property while creating a welcoming environment for guests, supporting your team, and ensuring the park is maintained to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys variety, leadership, and the rewarding lifestyle of outdoor hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all daily park operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally
  • Recruit, train, coach, and lead on-site team members
  • Manage reservations, occupancy, and revenue performance
  • Oversee budgeting, expense management, and financial reporting
  • Ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained through regular inspections
  • Coordinate maintenance projects and vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations
  • Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere for both guests and long-term residents
  • Must pass background check
  • Must have valid driver license
  • Previous experience managing an RV park, campground, hotel, resort, or similar hospitality property preferred
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Comfortable using reservation software, Microsoft Office, and basic technology
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management is a plus
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • A positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality
