Temporary, Part Time Summer Camp Role:
Seasonal Schedule:
  • June 22nd through August 21st
  • Monday through Friday
  • Split Shift Schedule: 7:00am to 9:00am and 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Driver to join our team! As the Hopes Respite Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle while adhering to a strict schedule and ensuring your passengers well-being. The ideal candidate is comfortable driving children with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
  • Pick up and drop off participants at designated locations
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly
  • Assist participants with boarding and exiting the bus in a safe manner
  • Engage with participants in a friendly and courteous manner
Qualifications
  • CDL preferred
  • Clean driving record with no recent accidents or traffic citations
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to follow GPS directions
