Job description

Craft the Future: Be a Box Maker at Hood Container!

Join Hood Container Corporation and experience the difference! We're a growing leader in the corrugated packaging industry, and we're looking for skilled and motivated corrugated professionals who has experience working in a corrugated packaging facility. Join our team and unbox your potential!


Starting Pay: $22/hr (potential for higher rate based on experience), Evening Shift Pay = Base Rate + $3/hour Shift Premium

Shift:

  • Day Shift (6:20 AM – 4:20 PM, Monday – Thursday)
  • Evening Shift (4:00 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday – Thursday)


What You'll Do:

  • Safety first: Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Master our converting equipment: Set up and assist operate either Rotary Die Cutter or Flexo Folder Gluers in the production of corrugated boxes.
  • Ensure quality: Inspect and monitor production runs, ensuring products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Drive efficiency: Maximize machine uptime and productivity.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

  • Proven experience: At least 6 months of experience operating corrugated industry equipment.
  • Technical skills: Strong understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
