About Us

Done Right Hood & Fire Safety is an FDNY-approved fire-safety company specializing in commercial kitchen exhaust system cleaning. We proudly serve all five boroughs, Long Island, and Westchester.

Our crews play a key role in keeping restaurants safe by removing combustible grease from hoods, ducts, fans, and electrostatic precipitators using professional-grade pressure-washing equipment, most often during overnight hours when kitchens are closed.

We’re growing fast and looking for hands-on, reliable, and motivated individuals who want to build a long-term career. This position offers clear growth potential to become a Crew Lead and eventually move into management as we expand.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive a company van to 1–3 restaurant locations per shift and ensure safe, on-time arrivals.
  • Set up work areas, protect customer property, and operate hot-water pressure washers to clean kitchen hoods, ducts, fans, and precipitator units.
  • Communicate professionally with restaurant managers to coordinate access and completion of jobs.
  • Lead and train 1–2 crew members, teaching proper cleaning methods, safety, and quality standards.
  • Follow FDNY, NFPA 96, and company safety procedures for fire prevention, chemical handling, and PPE.
  • Use a mobile app to record before/after photos, service reports, and job details.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, restock supplies, and report any issues immediately.
  • Be dependable, professional, and a team player; our success depends on consistency and trust.

What You Bring

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required).
  • 1+ year of experience in hood cleaning, power washing, or related manual labor.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined or greasy spaces.
  • Willing to work nights, early mornings, or occasional daytime shifts (overtime available).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a safety-first attitude.
  • Reliable, responsible, and ready to learn—we’ll teach the rest!
