Dealership Greeter / Showroom Host

Mt. Kisco Honda
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time or part-time
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly
Reports To: General Sales Manager / Guest Experience Manager


About the Role

Mt. Kisco Honda is looking for a friendly, polished, and customer-focused Greeter / Showroom Host to create an outstanding first impression for every guest.

You’ll welcome customers, identify how the dealership can assist them, connect them with the appropriate team member, and help keep the showroom and hospitality areas organized and inviting. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, stays composed in a busy environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.


Responsibilities

Guest Experience

  • Welcome every guest promptly with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ask questions and listen carefully to determine whether the guest needs assistance with sales, service, parts, or another department
  • Direct or personally escort guests to the appropriate team member or area
  • Help manage customer arrivals during busy periods and minimize unnecessary wait times
  • Offer and prepare complimentary beverages and snacks in the customer lounge
  • Make sure each guest feels acknowledged, comfortable, and informed


Reception and Communication

  • Check in customers and record visitor activity using the dealership’s CRM or digital check-in system
  • Notify sales representatives, service advisors, and managers when scheduled guests arrive
  • Answer general questions about dealership hours, amenities, appointments, and team member availability
  • Assist with incoming calls and call transfers during peak periods as needed
  • Communicate clearly with dealership departments to support a smooth customer experience


Showroom and Hospitality Areas

  • Keep the showroom entrance, customer lounge, waiting areas, and beverage station clean, organized, and fully stocked
  • Conduct routine visual checks of customer restrooms and report cleaning or restocking needs
  • Make sure brochures, promotional materials, signage, and digital displays are current and presentable
  • Assist with light hospitality setup for dealership events or high-traffic days


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, reception, or a similar role preferred
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional presence
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email, CRM software, and tablet-based check-in systems
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain composed in a fast-paced setting
  • Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance in accordance with dealership standards
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, Saturdays, and some holidays as needed


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the showroom for extended periods, potentially up to eight hours
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to move between indoor customer areas and outdoor vehicle or service-lane areas as needed
