Job description

Essential Job Functions:
1.) Handle boxes/containers of various weights and sizes and carry to conveyor line
2.) Count and package parts into a container
3.) Tag boxes with proper identification
4.) Scan part labels with RF Scanners
5.) Operate PIV equipment ( Tugger and Forklift)
6.) Remove debris such as cardboard, plastic and other waste products from large containers which move along automatic conveyor line
7.) De-label containers using a scraper knife or by pulling labels off Manually
8.) Cross-train throughout departments
9.) Manually check parts against the container label
Minimum Requirements (education, experience, skills, licenses and/or certifications):
1.) Able to lift up to 40lbs repetitively for 8 hours
2.) Organized, detail oriented and accurate
3.) Good Communication skills
4.) High level of team work
5.) Able to work overtime pre and post shift as needed, short notice at times
6.) Highschool Diploma or GED not required
Personal Protective Equipment: Steel Toed shoes, bump caps and safety glasses are required on the production floor, Some departments require ear protection and Kevlar sleeves
Essential Physical Requirements
1.) The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
2.) While performing the duties of the position, the associate is regularly required to bend, lift, stand, walk,see,talk and/or hear.
Working Conditions
1.) Work is performed indoors in a temperature controlled facility. Work may be performed around moving objects ( Automated conveyors and forklifts) and/or in confined spaced ( between pallets or inside trailers).
