Job description

The Community House Spark After School Program proudly serves students in Kindergarten through 8th grade from CCSD 180, providing a safe, engaging, and enriching environment after the school day ends. Located in Unincorporated DuPage County, Spark is dedicated to supporting local families by offering homework assistance, hands-on enrichment activities, recreation, social-emotional learning, and opportunities for children to build friendships and confidence. Our program is committed to helping every child learn, grow, and thrive while creating meaningful connections within the community we proudly serve.

Compensation:

$16.75 - $17.25 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Guide students through engaging enrichment activities that foster creativity and curiosity.

  • Provide personalized homework support, ensuring each child understands and completes their assignments

  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.

  • Encourage positive peer interactions and help students build lasting friendships.

  • Collaborate with fellow mentors to design and implement innovative program activities.

  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share student progress and achievements.
