Fusion Academy is the school that changes everything! We are a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5-12. As a HomeworkCafรฉยฎ Teacher, you'll support students in our homework hubs and social spaces. Our diverse team of lifelong learners shares a mission to personalize education for every student - academically, socially, and emotionally. Please note: Not all campuses serve grades 4 and 5, and specific details will be shared during the interview process.
What You'll Do:
  • Monitor and help students' progress in completion of homework and with executive functioning skills.
  • Communicate with teachers and parents on student progress.
  • Promote a positive social environment for students.
  • Adapt support to meet each learner's needs.
  • Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
  • Contribute to campus life or culture.
  • Keep student records accurate and organized.
  • Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to support students with a wide range of assignments.
  • Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
  • Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
  • Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
