What We're Looking For:

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and Personal Care Assistants (PCA). You'll provide essential personal care tailored to each patient's needs, promoting dignity, safety, and independence — and if you're not yet certified, we offer paid training, so we encourage you to apply anyway! Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient laundry when necessary

  • Provide medication reminders

  • Ensure patient safety

  • Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor

  • Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required

  • Assist patients with ambulation

  • Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols

  • Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines

  • Offer bathing assistance

  • Perform light housekeeping

  • Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance

  • Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided

  • Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws (training provided)

  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience

  • Preferred: current CPR certification

  • Preferred: current tuberculosis (TB) test
