Job description

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Petersburg, MI. In this role, you will provide essential in-home care and support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their well-being.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure a safe and clean home environment for clients.
  • Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
  • Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks associated with caregiving.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is preferred.
