Job description

We are seeking a self-driven, motivated Construction Worker to join our small, customer-focused construction company specializing in residential remodeling and new home construction in Central Ohio. This role requires full-time on-site presence with our small team to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service throughout the home renovation and custom home building projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee demolition, site preparation, and carpentry tasks to ensure project progress and safety
  • Manage small installation projects and finishing within residential spaces
  • Coordinate material handling, including loading, unloading, and safe transport of building materials
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes on-site
  • Maintain quality control to meet company standards and client expectations
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
  • Assist and coordinate with specialized trade contractors for large scale projects
  • Lead and support a small team of construction workers to complete projects on schedule

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with hand and power tools including saws, drills, and sanders,
  • Physical stamina to handle lifting heavy materials and prolonged standing
  • Strong communication skills for professional client and team interaction
  • Basic understanding of residential building codes and construction safety
  • Must have valid Drivers License
  • Clean Background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in construction
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices and building code compliance
  • Skills in risk management and problem solving on construction sites
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
