Job description

I am a small company specializing in home modification for disabled children, seeking an experienced carpenter with at least 10 years of expertise in remodeling. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in bathroom renovation, framing decks and handicap ramps, flooring, door widening, and door replacement. This role requires the ability to follow instructions carefully and communicate effectively with homeowners. Working with special needs children necessitates patience and adaptability. A valid driver’s license with a clean record and the ability to pass a criminal background check are required. This hourly position offers overtime, four weeks of paid vacation, an end-of-year bonus, and will pay for travel time to jobs and back to the shop. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bathroom renovations including demolition and installation
  • Frame and construct decks and handicap ramps
  • Install and replace flooring
  • Widen doorways and replace doors as needed
