Job description

Description:

This role is responsible for performing product inspections in accordance with established quality standards and procedures. The inspector conducts visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools and equipment to ensure parts meet engineering drawing, blueprint, and work order requirements. Responsibilities include preparing and completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) for customer submission, supporting final inspection activities, and providing backup coverage for the Designated Quality Representative. The position may also involve using basic statistical tools to monitor, analyze, and report process variation.

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· Three (3) to five (5) years of Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing required

· Complex blueprint reading skills required; including strong GD&T knowledge

· Proficiency with inspection equipment (i.e. caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.) with CMM & Fabrivision a plus

· Ability to work individually or as part of a team

· Must have clear written, oral communication and analytical skills

· Must understand technical documentation and specifications

· Must be capable of multitasking
