Job Description: The Home Depot Territory Sales Rep is a sales position responsible for increasing market share and awareness of Masterbrand Cabinetry, which includes brands under American Woodmark, Thomasville, Hampton Bay, and Glacier Bay.

Accountabilities
  • Meeting or exceeding all sales targets assigned to the position while increasing market share
  • Execute sales calls at Home Depot stores in assigned territory
  • Drive sales and marketing initiatives in the field to launch
  • Train designers at Home Depot locations
  • Teach and coach the store designer on how to pitch the sale or improve the layouts of the cabinets on their design system to secure the sale
  • Develop territory and store-level strategy to increase market share
  • Gain understanding and insight of customer and consumer needs by direct interaction with consumers
  • Manage conflict, customer and consumer communication and follow-up needs through direct influence and relationship building with designers and interaction with the customer/contractors who in the store shopping for cabinets
  • Maintain and update store displays, marketing materials and execute new program initiatives

  • Outgoing, driven personality with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong consultative sales style
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete work thoroughly
  • This position will require occasional overnight travel for sales trainings/meetings
Education, Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of cabinet sales and design experience in the Home Center or Dealer environment
  • 2020 Design software expertise
  • Knowledge of all working areas of a kitchen or bath project
  • Modular cabinet design experience
