Job description

We're partnering with a highly respected luxury custom home builder that's experiencing tremendous growth, with an impressive pipeline of high-end residential projects throughout Northern and Southern California.

This isn't a role for someone who waits to be told what to do. We're looking for a true go-getter—someone with a "get it done" mentality who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and helps keep projects moving forward. You'll work directly on behalf of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and play a critical role in the success of multiple custom home projects.

If you're highly organized, proactive, and know your way around Procore, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Support multiple luxury custom home projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Work closely with the COO, Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Own project documentation and maintain accurate records in Procore.
  • Process RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project correspondence.
  • Track schedules, budgets, procurement, and project milestones.
  • Coordinate subcontractor communication and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Identify issues before they become problems and proactively drive solutions.
  • Keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving efficiently.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in residential or commercial construction.
  • Luxury or custom home experience is highly preferred.
  • Procore proficiency is REQUIRED.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Comfortable working directly with executive leadership.
  • Professional demeanor with the confidence to communicate with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
The Ideal Candidate

You are someone who:

  • Has a true "get stuff done" attitude.
  • Doesn't wait for direction, you anticipate what's needed and make it happen.
  • Takes ownership and follows through.
  • Enjoys solving problems and finding solutions.
  • Is resourceful, detail-oriented, and dependable.
  • Wants to grow with a company that has years of exciting projects ahead.
