Job description

Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Part-Time)

Three Lakes MD Weight Loss & Wellness
Seneca, SC

Join Our Team

Three Lakes Weight Loss & Wellness MD is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-centered NP and/or PA to join our growing medical weight loss and wellness practice in Seneca, South Carolina.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an exciting startup clinic focused on helping patients achieve healthier, longer lives through evidence-based weight management, preventative medicine, and wellness optimization. Initially, the position will be 1–2 days per week, with opportunities for additional hours as the practice grows.

Responsibiliities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.
  • Perform new patient consultations and follow-up visits.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans using established clinic protocols.
  • Diagnose and manage obesity and weight-related health conditions.
  • Interpret laboratory results and electrocardiograms (ECGs).
  • Prescribe medications and other appropriate therapies within South Carolina scope-of-practice regulations.
  • Educate patients on nutrition, exercise, lifestyle modification, and long-term wellness strategies.
  • Counsel patients on preventative care, healthy aging, improved energy, metabolic health, and reducing chronic inflammation.
  • Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

  • Current Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license in South Carolina.
  • Active DEA registration (required).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, professional, and highly organized.
  • Passion for providing outstanding patient care and customer service.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

Experience or interest in one or more of the following:

  • Medical weight loss
  • Obesity medicine
  • Preventative medicine
  • Wellness and lifestyle medicine
  • Hormone optimization
  • Peptide therapies
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Exercise counseling

Schedule

  • Part-time
  • Approximately 1–2 days per week initially
  • Day shift
  • Opportunity for increased hours as the practice expands

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly pay
  • Compensation is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
