Regional Sales Representative Industrial Machinery | Texas

Home-Based | Texas Territory

SCM Group North America is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Representative to drive new business and support customers throughout Texas and the surrounding region. This home-based position requires regular travel within the assigned territory, so candidates should reside in Texas or within reasonable proximity to a major airport.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced outside sales professional with a background in CNC machinery, industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment, automation equipment, woodworking machinery, or other capital equipment who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and closing complex equipment sales.

Compensation
  • Base salary starting at $60,000
  • Uncapped commission
  • Top performers regularly earn six-figure incomes
What You'll Do
  • Develop new business opportunities throughout the assigned territory
  • Prospect and identify new customers using strategic sales techniques
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with manufacturers, end users, dealers, and distributors
  • Support existing dealer partners while expanding the dealer network
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
  • Conduct customer visits, equipment presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Work closely with engineering and technical teams to develop customer solutions
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close equipment sales
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales activity within the CRM system
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory with occasional international travel
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial machinery, CNC machinery, manufacturing equipment, automation equipment, woodworking machinery, or other capital equipment
  • At least 1 year of outside sales, territory sales, business development, or technical sales experience
  • Proven ability to prospect, develop leads, and generate new business
  • Strong mechanical, technical, or engineering aptitude
  • Experience working with dealer or distributor networks is preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently from a home office
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
