We have an exciting opportunity for a Superintendent based in our Whittier location, focused on delivering complex healthcare projects across Southern California. In this role, you will lead field operations from preconstruction through completion, partnering closely with project teams to develop schedules, manage site logistics, and drive execution on high-impact, compliance-driven healthcare environments. You will play a critical role in building and leading cohesive teams, coordinating subcontractors and trade partners, and ensuring all work aligns with project requirements, regulatory standards, and client expectations.This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-performing job sites, overseeing safety, quality, production, and budget while implementing the Boldt Production System to drive efficiency and continuous improvement. You will be a key leader on-site, solving problems in real time, maintaining strong communication across teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards.   • Bachelor’s degree is preferred in the areas of construction management or engineering. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Seven years industry experience and four years supervisory experience in construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures required.
    • A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons’ ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of The Boldt Company or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.
    Nice to Have
    • Experience on healthcare or other highly regulated projects such as OSHPD or HCAI
    • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and ability to control and supervise large groups essential.
    • OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
    • Awareness of the general construction, structural steel installation, crane setup, crane capacity, masonry, millwright work, heavy rigging, and critical lift plans.
