Job description

Care Recruiter / Administrator
Preferred Care at Home of Champlain Valley — Remote, Vermont

If you're the kind of person who likes variety, builds relationships easily, keeps track of the details others miss, follows through when you say you will, and enjoys a day that keeps you on your toes, this might be a great fit for you.

Who We Are

Preferred Care at Home of Champlain Valley provides trusted, compassionate non-medical in-home care to clients across Vermont. We built this agency on the belief that great client care starts with taking care of our team first. That means real support, clear expectations, and recognition for the people who make this agency run well.

The Role

This is a sales forward, relationship driven position. While the title is Care Recruiter / Administrator, a part of this role is about finding new ways to reach and attract caregivers, building relationships with schools, community organizations, and other sources, and creating a steady pipeline of great applicants. You'll also coordinate day to day care services and keep communication moving between clients and caregivers.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and develop new ways to source and attract caregivers, including relationships with schools and community organizations
  • Recruit and onboard new caregivers using our applicant tracking software, keeping every file current and every step on schedule
  • Check in with new caregivers at 30, 60, and 90 days, staying ahead of any concerns before they become problems
  • Assign and track online training modules so caregivers keep growing their skills
  • Coordinate care services and be the go-to point of contact for client and caregiver needs
  • Answer calls and texts quickly and professionally
  • Keep documentation accurate and organized
  • Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism, staying calm and solution focused

What We're Looking For

  • Someone who communicates quickly and clearly, by phone and by text
  • Someone who builds relationships naturally and enjoys meeting new people
  • Sales experience is a plus. This role is sales forward at its core, focused on finding and attracting great caregivers
  • A track record in recruiting, care coordination, or a similarly relationship heavy, detail heavy role
  • Strong organizational skills and a genuine dislike for loose ends
  • Someone who works well with clear expectations and structure, and who gets more confident and independent the more familiar they become with a process
  • A compassionate, people first mindset

Why You'll Want to Be Here

  • Work from home in Vermont with a flexible schedule
  • Performance based incentive package, because we believe hard work should be rewarded and recognized
  • Competitive pay based on experience and skill
  • Paid time off and retirement benefits after your qualifying period
  • A supportive team that notices your wins and says so
  • Real relationships with schools and community partners, and a direct view of the impact you make bringing people onto our team

About the Company:

Preferred Care at Home of Champlain Valley is a reputable company that provides high-quality care services to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. We are dedicated to improving the lives of our clients by offering personalized care solutions. Join our team and become part of a compassionate and rewarding work environment.
