The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to assisting underserved populations, embodying our mission to foster healthier communities through quality care.

About the Organization

At Tranquil Minds Consulting, we are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services to medically underserved areas. As a remote member of our team, you will enjoy the flexibility of a home-based work environment while actively engaging with clients through virtual consultations and community outreach. Our culture promotes collaboration, respect, and an appreciation for diverse traditions and beliefs. You will be supported by a cohesive team of professionals who share a commitment to our mission and vision, working together to provide the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status, including screening for major mental illnesses and emotional disorders, to design appropriate treatment plans.
  • Carry a consistent caseload, managing individual, group, and family therapy sessions aimed at addressing clients' unique needs and enhancing their overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement integrated care plans, ensuring comprehensive support across various health services.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, demonstrating the ability to manage urgent situations effectively and empathetically.
  • Compile and maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes, ensuring timely completion of reports to meet organizational requirements.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and quality improvement committees to enhance service delivery and contribute ideas for program development.
  • Engage in professional development activities to refine your skills and contribute to personal and team growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on assisting clients from diverse backgrounds, many of whom may be part of marginalized communities and face barriers to accessing mental health services. You will work closely with individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges, tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs. Your ability to build rapport and trust with clients is essential to their treatment outcomes and overall satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of Nevada.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably working with underrepresented populations and those with severe emotional disorders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients and team members.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and a proactive approach to managing a caseload.
Preferred Experience

Experience in community health settings is highly valued, as is familiarity with trauma-informed care practices. Candidates with backgrounds in crisis management, while working with diverse populations, will stand out in our selection process. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is advantageous for this remote position.
