Work Environment

In this fully remote position, you will have the flexibility to manage your work environment while connecting with students, families, and educational staff across various schools. Your primary focus will be on delivering social work services tailored to the unique needs of each student, ensuring their mental health challenges are understood and addressed. Our team employs a collaborative approach, utilizing virtual tools to communicate efficiently and maintain a strong connection with clients and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that includes educators, counselors, and mental health professionals to develop comprehensive strategies to support students' emotional and behavioral needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments, ensuring they address the academic and social challenges faced by each student.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for students experiencing acute psychological distress, maintaining a calm environment during critical moments.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to monitor progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary, and document outcomes to meet organizational and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate workshops and informative sessions to educate students and their families about mental health resources and promote wellbeing.
• Continuously engage in professional development to stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices and trends in school social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students ranging from elementary to high school age. Many of the individuals you support may face challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, or the impacts of trauma. You will also engage with families and guardians, equipping them with the tools they need to foster a supportive home environment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• A minimum of two years of experience working directly with children and adolescents, preferably in educational or community settings.
• Exceptional communication and clinical skills, with the ability to relate to students and families from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in school systems or youth services, with a focus on mental health.
• Familiarity with resources available within the community for supporting mental health interventions.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices to deliver empathetic and effective support.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
