Position Overview

Intimate Bridge Counseling is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in providing essential services to young children facing developmental challenges. This full-time position will be performed remotely, allowing you to impact the lives of families in Naperville, Illinois, and beyond while enjoying the flexibility of a home-based work environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of children and families, utilizing standardized tools and evidence-based practices.
  • Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to set measurable goals and monitor progress.
  • Engage with families consistently, providing guidance and strategies to promote developmental milestones through natural learning environments.
  • Deliver services that adhere to federal and state regulations, ensuring compliance and ethical practice in all interactions.
  • Utilize an effective coaching model to implement support strategies that align with the family's priorities and the child's developmental status.
  • Document outcomes and provide progress reports to illustrate the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Foster strong therapeutic relationships with children and families, creating an inclusive and supportive environment conducive to learning and growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily serving infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays, focusing on enhancing their physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. Our services are designed to integrate with various state and federal programs, emphasizing a collaborative approach that empowers families and addresses the unique needs of each child.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a remote context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Valid driver's license for potential travel to family homes or other care settings.
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, as this can enhance service delivery for diverse populations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience using evidence-based practices and familiarity with Early Intervention methodologies.
