• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms they experience.
• Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals and preferences, incorporating evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Monitor and track client progress through regular check-ins, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on therapeutic outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary collaborations, working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for your clients.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments, applying this knowledge to enhance your therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in professional development opportunities and attend team meetings, sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues.
• Advocate for mental health awareness and support services, addressing the stigmas that affect clients and their access to care.

In this role, you will primarily focus on individuals and families experiencing mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety. • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude are crucial for understanding clients' experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and time-management capabilities to efficiently handle a full caseload and administrative responsibilities.

• Experience working with clients who struggle with mood disorders is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT.
• Experience in a community health setting or similar environment is a plus.

• A competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
