Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote role focused on providing essential mental health services to students and families within a school setting. As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in addressing the mental health needs of children and adolescents, fostering their emotional growth and resilience, and contributing to their overall well-being.

About the Organization

Recovery Room Therapy & Wellness Services is a reputable outpatient mental health clinic based in Gardnerville, Nevada, committed to delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals of all ages. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can embark on their healing journeys. We specialize in various mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related issues, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to ensure our clients receive the best care possible.

Work Environment

This remote position allows flexibility while still offering the opportunity to connect profoundly with clients. The role is innovative and dynamic; you will work collaboratively with school staff albeit from a distance. Utilizing telehealth platforms, you will have the tools necessary to provide effective therapy sessions and assessments, thus breaking down barriers to accessing mental health support. You will become an integral part of the mental health team, supporting studentsโ€™ social-emotional learning through a structured and organized program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify clientsโ€™ mental health needs, strengths, and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific context and needs.
  • Orderly documentation of therapy sessions and follow-ups to ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with school personnel, including teachers and administrators, to address students' mental health needs effectively.
  • Facilitate psychoeducation sessions to enhance understanding of mental health issues among students, families, and staff.
  • Offer crisis intervention services and create safety plans when required, ensuring immediate support for students in distress.
  • Engage in case reviews and collaborative meetings with the treatment team to formulate coordinated care strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse population of students, ranging from elementary school-aged children to adolescents in high school, encompassing various mental health issues. You will address specific challenges pertinent to this demographic, such as school-related stress, adolescent social dynamics, and trauma, ensuring culturally competent care that respects individual differences and backgrounds.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building trustworthy relationships with clients and school staff.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient or mental health setting, preferably working with children and adolescents.
  • Experience in school-based mental health services strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies and platforms for remote assessments and therapy sessions.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, in addition to a generous sign-on bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes extensive health insurance covering medical, dental, and vision care, retirement plans with employer matching to support your long-term financial goals, and paid time off for vacation, personal days, and holidays. Additionally, we provide opportunities for continuing education and training programs to further develop your skills and career.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Recovery Room Therapy & Wellness Services, we believe in investing in our employeesโ€™ professional growth and development. You will have access to continual learning opportunities, mentorship, and the potential for career advancement within the organization. As we expand our services and programs, there will be numerous opportunities for you to specialize in different areas of mental health and take on leadership roles.
